Service Description

Students will learn how to navigate the Code structure as well as the minimum requirements for materials, fabrication, erection, testing, examination, and inspection of piping systems categorized as ASME B31.9 Building Services Piping. ASME B31.9 Building Services Piping are typically found in many industrial plants. These systems will operate at lower temperatures and pressures that are not considered life threatening when exposed to them. ASME B31.9 systems are typically condensing water, water for heating and cooling, steam and condensate, vacuum, compressed air, and nontoxic, nonflammable gases. Students who complete the 40-hour class will receive a QWC Services certificate of completion. **Company classes are offered at reduced costs based on class size. Please inquire for this scenario!**
